Growing Conditions and Origins
Ranunculus, anemones and freesia are some of the cool season crops we'll have at the stand. Farms in Ohio are able to get a head start on these blooms by starting them out in low tunnels or greenhouses, protecting them from the last legs of harsh winter cold. They thrive in 40 - 50 degree temperatures, and are a sure sign that Spring is near.
