Spring Flower Highlight -- Poppies

• Poppies are a hardy plant blooming in colder, early spring temperatures throughout the months of March -- May. The poppy protects its petals with their 'green sepals', until they eventually fall off as the papery thin flower emerges, showing off their bold color and delicate texture.
